About Naturally NaQuai

Naturally NaQuai was created from a desire to return to the body, to care for it with intention, honesty, and ingredients drawn from the earth. What began with six handcrafted fragrance oils has grown into an evolving creative practice rooted in ritual, self-expression, education, and community.

Today, Naturally NaQuai is home to thoughtfully made skincare, hair care, fragrances, apparel, and educational resources. Every offering is created with intention and a deep belief that care should never be an afterthought. Our products are made for people who want to be more intentional about what they put on their bodies, while our educational work invites people to be more intentional about how they move through the world.

Founded and led by Jamera NaQuai, a Black queer woman, poet, educator, and community organizer, Naturally NaQuai is an extension of her many creative and communal practices. Her work is deeply influenced by Black culture, ancestral knowledge, creativity, and the belief that caring for ourselves and caring for one another are inseparable.

Beyond the products, Jamera uses Naturally NaQuai as a platform to create. Through poetry, markets, community events, educational resources, and gathering spaces, she builds opportunities for people to connect, learn, celebrate, and experience joy. Her anti-racism workbook reflects another part of that work: the belief that education, unlearning, and collective responsibility are essential forms of care too.

Naturally NaQuai exists at the intersection of body care, creativity, culture, and community. It is a place to smell good, feel good, learn something, express yourself, and remember that care can take many forms.
